WISSINGER, Elizabeth Marie (Bette)

Age 95, of Brookville, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, daughter, Kathleen Burns, son-in-law, Thomas Burns and grandson Jeff Burns. She was an avid reader and loved gardening and cooking. She volunteered for Good Samaritan Hospital for 26 years and the Board of Elections for 45 years. Bette is survived by her son Bill (Beth) Wissinger; daughter, Barbara (Doug) Rasor; grandchildren, Tom (Tammy) Wissinger, Jennifer (Mark) Smith, Jonathan (Erin) Wissinger, Lori Baker, Angie (Scott) Daniels, David (Julie) Burns and Marc Rasor; 17 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild along with numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Mon. Nov. 28 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with Pastor Phil Marxson officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 5-7 PM Sunday. If desired, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
