HACKETT, Ethel

Age 94, of Brookville, passed away November 29, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shadie & Lula Banks; husband, William O’Hair; son, Kenneth O’Hair; husband Edward Hackett; sisters, Etta O’Hair, Jeanttie McDonald, Lula White & Bertha Mahaffy; brothers, Lonnie, David, Shadie Jr., Lando, Daniel & Ralph Lee Banks. Ethel attended The Ridge Church. She was a dedicated Christian woman who served her church with joy and love. Survivors include son, William O’Hair, II; daughters, Peggy (Donald) Doty, Kathy Alcorn & Donna (Ronald) Brinson-Alexander; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren & 12 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Clayton Banks and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Mon. Dec. 5 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with Pastor Darrel Schick officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Brookville. Visitation will be held Monday from 10 AM until service time.
