MORAN, Helen M.

Age 89, of Brookville, passed away at Brookhaven on Friday, March 23, 2018 following an extended illness. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a woman of faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick H. Moran. She was a longtime member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Women’s Auxiliary of VFW Post #3288, Brookville. Helen is survived by her children, Sue (Mike) Stubbs, Pat Moran, Tim (Melanie) Moran, Jim (Patti) Moran, Tom (Carrie) Moran, Dan Moran, Jay (Diana) Moran, Steve (Joyce) Moran & Mike (Cindy) Moran; 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Helen donated her body to the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State Univ. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, 5-8 PM Thu. April 5. A Memorial Mass will be held at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 10:30 AM, Fri. April 6, with Fr. Jim Siebert as the celebrant. The family will also have a wake at VFW Post #3288 in Brookville, 6-9 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to VFW Post 3288, 210 Carr Drive, Brookville, OH 45309.
