CASTLE, Homer Ralph

Age 85, of Brookville, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 following an extended illness. He was preceded in death this past July by his wife of 62 years, Frances & by brothers, Delmus, Lloyd & OJ. He was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookville. He was a US Marine Corps veteran, and was retired from General Motors. Homer is survived by a son, Ed (Donna) Castle; grandsons, whom he loved and adored are Grant & Luke Castle; also survived by his brother Tom Castle, special friends Judy and Roger Garlitz, Virginia Foust, and numerous other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held 4 PM Sat. Dec. 10, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 25 W. Westbrook Rd. in Brookville. The family will receive friends from 3 PM Saturday until service time at the church. If desired, the family suggests donations to Trinity Lutheran Church, Brookville.
