To the Family of Irene Wetzel: I had the opportunity to meet Mrs Wetzel twice along with some of the family. You all are such a warm loving family and I know she will be dearly missed. May you all find strength from the words found at 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4: " Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God."

What a wonderful ,fun woman!! I had the ultimate pleasure of touring Italy with Irene and Marilyn.And watching her blush as the Italian me perused her.

My brother, Robert, sent word that Irene had passed.
We read the obituary and found Irene seemed to have many sticks in the fire. Had no idea.
We are in Melbourne, FL for the winter or we would return the gracious efforts you and your Mother offered to my Mother, Glora.
Betty and I offer our sincere condolences and our prayers for your peace and comfort through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
May we meet again soon.

So sorry for your loss.
I have so many fond memories as a child spending time at the Wetzel home.
One special memory that is where i learned to milk a cow.

I was sorry to hear that Aunt Irene passed away but was glad I got to see her not to
long ago & talked to her. I have wonderful memories of going to the farm on visits when I was young and playing with the cousins. Aunt Irene was always so nice and I know her kids and grand kids will feel the loss. Sorry Josie and I won't be able to be there, we are in florida for the winter but our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We'll never forget "Grandma Irene". She was such a beautiful woman inside and out. I'll always remember our times at Fletcher's and the wonderful conversations we had while everyone else was out fishing. We'd just sit, talk and enjoy the view.

Mrs. Wetzel was indeed, a wonderful lady!! I have many happy memories of her with the Wentzel Clan growing up in Brookville. She has left a beautiful legacy in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Prayers, hugs and love to the whole family.
