PHALIN, Janet (Hester)

Age 83, of Brookville, formerly of Englewood, passed away at her home on Friday, September 1, 2017 following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Ova Knox, mother, Bernie Hazzard, first husband, Richard (Dick) Hester & step-son Jeffrey Scott Phalin. Janet was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She loved to dance, golf and spend time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Gordon Phalin; her 5 children, Kathy (Rick) Koebel, Stan (Lana) Hester, Karen (Mark) Anderson, Tim (Lynn) Hester, Lynda (Bob) Cruse; step-children, Julie (Mike) Jennings, Jenny (Kelly) Long, numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Fri. Sep. 8 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Visitation will be held from 2 PM until service time Friday.
