BLESSING, Roland F.
Age 96, of Brookville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, by a daughter-in-law, Diana Blessing & grandson, Philip Blessing and by 2 brothers & 2 sisters. He was the longtime owner of Blessing’s Garage & Lawn Mower Repair, he was a US Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. Roland was raised in the Church of the Brethren and was currently worshipping at Salem Church of God. Survivors include his children & their spouses, Roland W. Blessing & Dora, Joyce Bowers Munn & Bob, Roy & Lynn Rhoades Blessing; grandchildren; Ann Elliott (Eli), Aaron Blessing, Stephanie Bowers, Emily Blessing Christopher (Kevin), Alicia Blessing Snyder (Chris), 1st Lieut. Ryan Blessing, Jeff Munn (Tanya); great-grandchildren, Michael Tomlinson, Kelly Geva (Ben), Jordyn Elliott, Jackson Christopher, Mackenzie Christopher, Kyle Munn, Megan Munn and Luke Munn, and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Mon. Oct. 3 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with Pastor Richard Triplett officiating.
