LANDIS, Betty L.
Age 85, of Brookville, passed away peacefully July 30th, 2012 at Brookhaven Nursing Home. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Lottie (Slough) Lightner; husband Homer Landis Jr. and son Tom Landis. Survived by son Bill (Susan) of Burt Lake, MI; grandson, Justin (Jessica) of Adrian, MI; brother, Martin (Monique) Lightner of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Dorothy Lightner of Scottsdale, AZ; many nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends and good neighbors. Betty was a longtime resident of Brookville, graduated from Brookville High School, worked at the post office, sold Avon products, raised a family, was a hairdresser and a member of Seniors on the Go where she served as president for two years. Betty’s family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice of Dayton and all the staff at Brookhaven Nursing Home for all their help and support. Funeral service 10:30 am Fri., Aug. 3 at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Visitation 5-7 pm Thurs. at the funeral home.
