STUMP, Herbert
Age 92, of Brookville, Ohio, passed away after an extended illness January 10, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie; son James and second wife Dottie. Herbert loved farming and the outdoors. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He attended church at GO Ministries. He retired after 33 years at GM Inland. Herbert loved to spend time at his cottage at Grand Lake St. Mary?s and enjoyed bluegrass/country music. He is survived by his wife Mary; daughter, Sue Dohner; grandsons, Daniel Dohner, Ward Matthew Dohner and Timothy Stump; 3 great-grandchildren; step-children, Sheila (Steve) Thiel, Warren (Susan) Carpenter, Gary (Becky) Carpenter; step-grandchildren, Olivia, Preston, Brittany, Amy, Nikki and Jennifer; 5 step-great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be 12:00-2:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, Ohio 45309 with a funeral service starting at 2. Interment in Arlington Cemetery will follow the service. Donations in honor of Herbert may be made GO Ministries in New Paris.
