SIGLER, Virginia Mae
93, of Brookville, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2018. She was born in Hilliard, Ohio to Kenneth Sr. and Emma Mae Swepston along with twin brother, Kenneth Swepston Jr. She married Wayne on Jan. 28, 1950, who preceded her in death in 2014.
Virginia was generous to everyone and humble, never wanting anyone to make a big “fuss" over her. She loved her family and friends and could often be found outside in your garden pulling weeds or dropping off an extra roll of paper towels, just to help. She worked for the registrar's office at The Ohio State University and was a lifelong Buckeye fan. She liked doing puzzles, playing ping pong and going on walks. She was a woman of routine who appreciated simple joys in life, including Marmaduke cartoons and Hershey's chocolate. Virginia's loving and unique spirit will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
She is survived by her children, Glenn (Rebecca) Sigler and Marcia (Tim) Knepshield; grandchildren, Maria, David, Jennifer, Jacob, Jessica, Charlie, Carolyn and Kelly; and great-grandchildren.
