GARTRELL, MaryAnn

Age 77, of Brookville, passed away at her home while under hospice care on Saturday, February 6, 2021, following an extended illness. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Englewood. She retired from Mound Laboratory after 32 years of service and was a member of ASQC. She was an integral founding member of the Franklin Golf Club. MaryAnn is survived by her husband of 40 years, George Gartrell; children, Shannon Gartrell-Hale, Georgeana Gartrell (Doug Hanson) & Michael Gartrell (Kristin); special granddaughter, Helen “Ellie” Smith; grandson, David Gartrell; brother, Robert Myerly; special friends, Bonnie Johnson & Terry Glander and numerous other relatives and friends. She was a loving wife, mom & grandma who always saw the best in everyone and everything. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Due to National Health concerns, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in care of GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to either Hospice of Dayton, American Cancer Society or any local Animal Shelter. E-mail condolences may be sent by going online to www.gilbert-fellers.com
