LAYER, Bonita R.

Age 77, of Brookville, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Naoma & William Edwards and by a brother, Robert Edwards. Bonita is survived by her husband of 59 years, Larry Layer; son, Tony Layer; daughter, Cindy Layer-Gromofsky (Alan); grandchildren, Lizzie Peeling (Christopher) & Marcus Gromofsky; great-grandchildren, Rowan & Arlan Peeling; sister, Barbara Eakes (Walter); brothers, William Edwards (Virgie) & Byron Edwards (Rose); sister-in-law, Jimmie Edwards and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, May 25 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with burial to follow in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville.
