COLLINS, Charlene “Char” Kay

Age 74, of Union, passed away Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 following an extended illness which she battled gracefully and fearlessly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Dorothy Brigner and sister, Norma Habel. Charlene was an employee of Kmart in Englewood for 39 years. She was a strong, hardworking woman who enjoyed life and loved her family. Survived by her husband of 53 years, Gary Collins; children, Lori Worley, Stephen (Tammy) Collins and Melissa “Missy” Collins; grandchildren, Jesse, Cody (Robyn) and Weston; great-grandchild, Maxton; step-great-grandchildren, Megan and Brayden; brother, Stephen Brigner and sisters, Barbara Johnson and Angela Warden. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, June 17th at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with burial to follow in Arlington Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, June 16th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton.
