I had the great honor of working with Elsie for 9 years at Dayton Christian (1978-87). She was was a servant of servants, the one faithfully laboring "behind the scenes", helping others prosper and succeed. In truth, the administrative team often mused 'where would we be without Elsie'? She labored in that little back room in the old convent during some of the hardest financial years of the schools' history. She was the epitome of an 'unsung hero'. In so many ways, she helped keep that ministry solvent! Great will be her reward - for she no only knew the Lord Jesus, she LIVED for Him. I thank God, with tears, upon every remembrance of her. She taught me so much. I am so indebted to her.

Charlie, praying for you in your time of grief. my friend.

My deepest condolences to your family. Mrs. Redmond volunteered in my Kindergarten classroom at Clay City Elementary for several years. I have thought of her often over the years. She was a wonderful christian lady, and a light for the children in my classroom. I remember all the times she brought homemade sugar cookies to me. She and Charles were a special couple. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.

Elsie will always be remembered as a very faithful servant for our Lord and Savior. She was very loyal to DCS and walked with us during some challenging times. It was a joy to minister with her. Charlie, how are you? We loved her and you. It will a great reunion soon for us and you. Bud and Carole

Elsie and Charlie were special friends for many years. Both of them were devout servants for our Lord, and it was such a pleasure to know them. I have wonderful memories of our times together. I wish I could be with all of you for Elsie's funeral, but it is not possible. With love and prayers, I send you my heartfelt thoughts.

Elsie was a wonderful Christian and a friend. She, Charles, and I always liked discussing the Bible together. She was loved by Salem Baptist members in Irvine, Kentucky. So sorry about your loss.
