HOLBERT, George

Age 87, of Brookville, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Siena Woods following a brief illness. George is preceded in death by both parents, brother, Bob Holbert, and daughter, Linda Kimerling. George is known for his talent at playing the guitar and banjo, with a taste for bluegrass. He has been a long time active member with the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg. If you needed an appliance fixed, George was the man to go to, having 20+ years professional expertise with Sears. If he wasn’t at church or working, George and Harriet traveled all over America camping. He was loved greatly and will truly be missed. George is survived by his wife of 67 years, Harriet Holbert; children, Tim Holbert, Dan Holbert, Jennifer (Nat) Davis; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 26th, 11AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church – Lewisburg, 511 Commerce Rd., Lewisburg with a 1 hour visitation prior to service starting at 10AM.
