Hawks, Gordon D.

Age 66, of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 in his home surrounded by family. Gordon was a 1970 graduate of Kettering Fairmont East High School. He was a lifetime lover of music and ran a successful audio supply business for many years selling equipment to many of the largest venues in the country. He was a born people person, and made everyone he came in contact with laugh. He was a kind and lively man who was all about peace. He was often heard saying “Give me two” which meant one for me and one for you. His infectious spirit will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrill and Marcie Hawks and brothers, Gary and Harlan Hawks. Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Pamela Hawks; Children Jeremy Hawks, Summer(Clint Lehman) Hawks, Sylvia (Scott) Adams, Abigail (Tim) Kring, Richard (Rachel) Wright, Isaac (Sara) Wright; Grandchildren, Alexis, Jonathon, Grace, Silas, Erin, Walter, Malachi, Garrett, and Praisely; Sister Gloria VanAlstine; Nephews Daniel (Anica), Brett, and Matt; Niece, Stephanie; his faithful golden retriever Emmie. A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday December 8, 2018 at Golden Gate Park in shelter 4  Brookville, Ohio from 1pm-4pm. Memorial contributions may be sent to Lewisburg Fire/EMS.
