ODA, Leora J. (Hoffman)

Age 93, of Brookville, formerly of Arcanum, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Brookhaven, following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis & Lula Miller; first husband, Lewis Hoffman; second husband, Marvin Oda; sisters, Lovina Cool, Kathryn Brown & Dorothy Hartman; brothers, Leonard, Willard & John Miller. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Arcanum. She also enjoyed card clubs and was a member of The Golden Agers of Arcanum. Leora is survived by her son, Terry (Sandra) Hoffman; grandchildren, Lori (James) Sebastian & Chad (Catherine) Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Lisa, Julie & John Sebastian, Veronica & Travis Hoffman; sister, Ruby Delk; step-daughter, Ann Oda, and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 5 PM Sunday, Sept. 16 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH with Pastors Greg Greve and Dan Kuhbander officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 PM Sunday until service time. A graveside service will be held 10 AM Mon. Sept. 17 at the Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.
