PETRY, Lowell C.

Age 82, of Brookville, passed away at his home on Friday, December 15, 2017 following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters & 5 brothers. He was a longtime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg, where he served as sexton. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and he was very passionate about golf and Brookville High School Athletics. Lowell is survived by his wife of 61 years, Arlene; daughters, Patty (Tim) Donohoo and Janet (Curt) Schreier; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Petry, and numerous other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held 4-8 PM Fri. Jan. 5 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Sat. Jan. 6, 2018 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, with Pastors Linda Kruse & Joe Bartczak officiating. A private committal service will be held at the convenience of the family.
