SPEER, Michael Lee

Age 66, of Clayton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Speer & Phyllis Coughlin; by a son Michael Axelsen Speer; brother, Jeffrey Speer and by his 1st wife, Cheryl Speer. He was a 1970 graduate of West Carrollton High School and he attended Adrian College before being drafted into the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of American Legion, VFW & AMVETS, and he was an avid golfer. Mike is survived by his wife of 22 years, Bonnie; children, Christy (Johnny) Whittaker, Nick (Adrianne) Speer, Katy (Jeffrey) O’Coin, Tim (Vanessa) Spurlock, Alex (Simon) Beard & Olivia Speer; 11 grandchildren, Dalton, Gracie, Georgia, Colton, Ethan, Georgie, Wyatt, Lincoln, Mason, Gabriel & Lyvia, along with numerous special friends and other relatives.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tue. June 5 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton.
