Noll, Pastor Marion J.
Age 95, of New Lebanon, left his earthly body, February 8, 2018 at his home. On Thursday, Pastor Marion was welcomed into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There to meet him was Naomi (Studebaker), his wife of forty-seven years, his parents, Forest and Stacy (Jay) Noll, his sister, Glenna Alspaugh Whitmer, and his twin sister, Mary Esther Jackson.
Pastor Marion was born near Pleasant Hill, OH. He began his adult life as a farmer and insurance agent. He was named an FFA Ohio State Farmer in the 1940s. Then he went into his calling when he pastored churches in IN, GA, and throughout southern OH. Close to his heart was the mission term he and Naomi served in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where he ministered and they served hundreds of street children lunch every day. He retired at age 85 after serving the Eaton Church of the Brethren for ten years as caregiving pastor.
While Pastor Marion has gone on to receive his reward from his Lord, he leaves behind family that he longed to see finish the Race of Faith well. He leaves, Mary, his wife of twenty-five years, his son, Wayne Noll (Cheryl); his daughter, Connie Barlow (John); his son, Dr. Mark Noll (Karen); his daughter, Dr. Jane Noll; his daughter, Cindi Slusher (Mike); his son, Phill Noll (Jenny); his step-daughter, Rhonda Carini (Dr. John); his step-son, Rodney Lentz (Marie) and sister-in-law, Marcy Studebaker.
He leaves 18 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren - all of whom he longed will know and serve his Lord. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews as well as many friends and loved ones who will always cherish Pastor Marion's memory.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 16 at Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, 950 Albert Rd. Brookville. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the West Auditorium at Christian Life Center, 3489 Little York Road, Dayton, with visitation from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Pastor Stan Tharp will be officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions can be made to Swaziland-Hands Against Hunger, c/o Christian Life Center.
