NELSON, Ralph S.

Age 83, of Vandalia, passed away suddenly, February 17, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon and siblings, Jimmy Ray, John Henry, Wayne and Freda. Ralph was a longtime member of Brookville Full Gospel Church. He loved to sing and play the bass guitar for church and various gatherings. He was a hugger, never met a stranger and loved everyone he met. Survived by his children, Dave (Linda) Melampy, Bill (Bettina) Nelson, Debbie Franklin, Beckie Gurley, Rick (Kim) Duncan, Kathy Duncan, Mark (Susan) Nelson and Loretta (Mark) Robinson; grandchildren, Alicia, Sean, Mike, Jennifer, Samantha, Nadine, Sarah, Daniel, Norris, Travis, Wade, Toma, Paul, Tasha, R.J., Bryanna, Dakota, Abby and Aidan; many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and siblings, Shelby Clear and Kenneth Nelson. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Wed., Feb. 21, at Brookville Full Gospel Church, 235 S Wolf Creek St, Brookville, OH 45309. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Thursday at the church with interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
