BOORD, Raymond L., Jr.

Age 91, of Brookville, formerly of Columbus, OH, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis & by a sister, Elizabeth. He was a 1945 graduate of Columbus West High School, a US Navy veteran of both WWII and the Korean War, and he retired from the Gulf Oil Co. Ray is survived by a son, Brad (Ginnie) Boord; daughters, Betsy (Tony) Owens & Barb Jones; sister, Bett Smith; 4 grandchildren & numerous other relatives and friends. At Ray’s request, a private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in care of the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE.
