ENNIST, ROBERT FRANK, SR.
Age 91, of Montrose, CO, formerly of Brookville, peacefully went to be reunited with his beloved wife Sarah Jane and their Lord on Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was preceded by his wife, Sarah Jane (Yocum) Ennist; parents, Emerson & Dorothy Ennist; sister, Marion Callahan; brother, William Ennist & granddaughter, Whitney Ennist. Born in Centre Co. PA, on November 15, 1926, he served in the United States Navy during WWII as an electronics and radar operator. Besides being a committed family man strongly dedicated to God, he became a pioneer of cable television, scout leader, pilot, avid horseman; he enjoyed hunting, reading & music. Survived by sons, Robert Ennist, Jr. & wife Lillie, Dan Ennist & wife Phyllis; daughters, Tamara & Holly Ennist; 7 grandchildren, Trey & Sean Ennist, DJ & Ethan Ennist, Sarah, Hallah & Hythem Sbita; 14 great-grandchildren, Bailey, Allie, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Weston, Asher, Haylee, Colten, Sophia, Evelynn, Audrianna, Ezra, Cooper, Isaac & Paisley. A memorial service will be held 10 AM Sat. Nov. 10 at the United Theological Seminary, 4501 Denlinger Rd., Dayton. A graveside service, with military honors provided by the United States Navy, will also be held Sat. Nov. 10 at 1:00 PM, at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville.
