Age 77, of Brookville, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's disease, but is now free and home with the Lord. Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Lois (Phelps) Meyer and granddaughter, Christina Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Evans) Meyer; sister, Phyllis Fox, daughter, Meadow Meyer who joined their family in 2003, his former wife, Marcia (Kramer) Meyer, children, Suzzanne Campbell, Denise Winthein, and Brent Meyer; grandchildren, Christopher (Taylor) Campbell, Austin Campbell, Brandon Campbell, Alizia (Jonathon) Causey, Elijah Winthein, Zakira Winthein, and Willow Bendele; great-grandchildren, Jake Oda, Alyssa Oda, Ivery Carver, Daniel Campbell, Jackson Causey, and Kai Causey. Allen was a prominent member of the Brookville Community as the owner of Meyer Orchard through the '80's selling apples and produce. He was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir for many years. He also enjoyed square dancing, camping and riding motorcycles.
