Age 90, of Phillipsburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 19, 2020 following an extended illness.
Artie was born August 13, 1929 to Arthur and Ada Hickman in Paoli, Indiana. She has been a long time active member of Phillipsburg United Methodist Church. Her family will always remember her as a loving wife, mother, and mammie (grandmother). Artie will be deeply missed my her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by parents, and daughters, D’Ann Tobias & Susan Beth.
Artie is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bob Turner; son, Jay (Karen) Turner; son-in-law, Steve Tobias; grandchildren, Joshua (Whitney) Tobias, Melanie (Ryan) Meno, Ada Turner, Joe Turner; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Raisor, Verna Reason, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020, 12PM (noon), at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE. Interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10am – 12pm at the funeral home, leading into the services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Phillipsburg United Methodist Church.
