WATT, Bernedene (Bowman)

Age 94, of Brookville, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 following a brief illness.  She was preceded in death by her parents Claud and Vi Bowman; by her husband of 56 years, Roy Watt ; twin sister Willedene Argast; and brother-in-law Harold (Joe) Argast. Bernie was a 1942 graduate of Trotwood Madison High School.  She was employed by Frigidaire Blueprint Department in Dayton, OH where she met her “one and only”, Roy, who worked in the Engineering Department. Bernedene devoted her adult life to raising their family of four children in Brookville, Ohio. She enjoyed being outdoors, her beloved pets, and in her earlier years enjoyed playing various sports, including golf and bowling leagues (200 club) at Frigidaire. Bernie is a past member of Antioch Church of Trotwood, OH and Delta Theta Tau Sorority of Brookville, OH. She is survived by her daughter Gayle Durst and husband Edward; daughter Kyle Denlinger and husband Stephen; daughter Cynthia Martin and husband Jim; and son James Watt and wife Carmen; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; nephew Steve (Theresa) Argast, and niece Jennifer Collinsworth. We will miss having our Mother with us, but know that she is with her loved ones whom she dearly missed who passed before her.  Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Eversole Cemetery in New Lebanon.
