MIDDLESTETTER, Betty Marie
Age 87, of Brookville, OH, passed away on February 13, 2024, at her residence following an extended illness. Betty was born on July 1, 1936, in North Wildwood Villas, NJ to the late Franklin and Thelma (Fulcher) Jaques and moved when she was nine to Bridgeton, North Carolina. She moved to Dayton, OH when she was 18 years old and met her husband, Chuck. She was a faithful member of Crestview Baptist Church since 1973. She was also part of the Brookville FISH Association and was a longtime Sunday school teacher at Crestview Baptist Church. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Middlestetter; grandson, Kyle; one brother and three sisters. Betty is survived by her children, Terry Evans (Sharon), Debra “Debbie” Rose (Gary), Charles “Chuck” Middlestetter (Cathy), Joe Middlestetter (Lesli) and Donald “Don” Middlestetter (Kelly); grandchildren, Meghan, Jaclyn, Chris, David, Charles, Caleb, Collin, Cassie, Jacob, Nathan, Luke, Ali, Alicia and Alex; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruthie McGhee (Bobby); and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation for Betty will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 3 to 6 p.m. at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, OH 45309. Funeral service will be on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Crestview Baptist Church. There will a private graveside service on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.The family would like to express a special thank you to Ohio Hospice of Dayton and Cathy Middlestetter for their years of care giving.
