BELL, Betty Lou

Age 93 of Brookville, passed away February 10, 2024. She was born March 6, 1930 to Emma Sophia Wilhelm and Arthur Mandeville Byrne in Adrian Michigan. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Raymond Swartout ll, Gordon W. Jones & Ray Bell, by sons, Raymond J. Swartout III & Gordon C. Jones as well as by 7 siblings, David Byrne, Geraldine Raymond, Ruth Cass, LeRoy Byrne, Ralf Byrne, Jean Reese and Coral Woodruff. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and working puzzles and eventually framing them. Betty is survived by a son, Larry Swartout; daughter, Dawn Jones & daughter-In-law Joanne Swartout; grandchildren, Monica & John Adkin, Raymond & Shonda Swartout, Shawn & Darcy Swartout, Jason & Carrie Swartout, Mitchell Studebaker, Michael Studebaker, Shawnda & Jason Studebaker-Williams; 18 great-grandchildren & 7 great-great-grandchildren.  Betty donated her body to the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program.
