CUMMINGS, Bonnie L.

Age 91, of Brookville, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Cummings; son, Mark Cummings; parents, Earl and Sarah Smith and all but one of her siblings. Bonnie retired from Brookville National Bank where she was a teller for 35 years. She was a deaconess at Brookville Church of the Brethren, Founding member of the Brookville Breast Cancer Support Group, and member of local cancer support groups. She was also a member of Iams Historical Society, Trotwood and a member of the Salem Church of the Brethren Quilting Group. She is survived by children, Bruce (Margaret) Cummings; Rachel L. Cummings, RuthAnn Janeway; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; one, great-great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Darcella Cummings; sister, Ellen Duke. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, at the funeral home.
