BELDEN, Brenda S.

Age 73, of Brookville, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Helen Guehring, by a son, Sonny Belden, by siblings, Reba Pinney, Donald Ray Guehring, John Jewel Martin & Ron Ray Martin and by a baby sister, Patricia. She was a 1966 graduate of Brookville High School and a 1983 graduate of Sinclair School of Nursing. She loved her career in nursing from hospital work at Good Samaritan in Dayton to being a traveling nurse and eventually working in home health care. She was a caring mother, sister, daughter, nana, aunt and friend who will be missed for her wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. Brenda is survived by her children, Scott Belden (Jaime Surber) & Angie Belden (Darren Shell); former husband and friend, Roy Belden, Sr.; grandchildren, Dustin, Tyler, Brandon & Sunni; great-grandchildren, Landon, Braylon, Brody & Blayke; siblings, Ronnie, Gerald, Danny, Maxine, Linda, Jackie, Nadine & Connie and numerous other relatives and many special friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wed. June 16 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE. Visitation will begin at 11 am on Wednesday, leading into the service.
