PRICE, Dana “Dan”

Age 69, of Brookville, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at Christ Hospital following a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger & Phyllis Price and niece, Stephanie Gerkovich.

Dan served our country in the United States Marine Corp, was a Vietnam Veteran, and was an active member of the Brookville VFW Post #3288. He retired from MIDAS in 2016 after 46 years of faithful service. Dan loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. Throughout his life Dan held interest in quite a few different hobbies. The most important of these was the time he would get to spend at the turkey shoots with his grandchildren. He golfed, hunted, fished, played darts, cards, pool, horseshoes, and loved his Stroh’s.

Dan is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna Price; sons, Ryan Price, Brent (Kelly) Price; grandchildren, Cory, Briggs, Von, Brock, and Dane; sisters, Pam (Gary) Gerkovich, Cindy (Ken) Thome; brother-in-law, Jerry James; good friend, Jeff Dunnier, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 20, 2018, 11AM held at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Burial to follow at Arlington Cemetery.
