LINVILLE, Daniel R.

Age 33, of Lewisburg, formerly of Brookville, lost his valiantly fought, seven-year battle, to lung cancer on December 19th, 2018.  Dan was an avid fisherman, champion horseshoe thrower, formidable trapshooter, cool music lover, grand adventurer, industrial engineer, who loved his family and friends, truck and boat, and his dog, Bean. Dan was beaten to heaven by his paternal grandparents, Quinton Earl & Jo Ann Linville; maternal great-grandmother, Betty Hypes; maternal great-grandparents Don & Evelyn Eyler; and maternal great-great-grandmother, Ruth Hypes. Dan is survived by his beautiful fiancee, Sarah Gulley, and her two sons Caleb and Hunter; his proud parents Tony & Belinda Linville; devoted sister, Lainey (Marcus) Chronabery; protegee brother, Seth (Marissa Shockley) Linville, loving maternal grandparents, Tom & Carol Eyler; maternal great-grandfather, Dale Hypes; aunts & uncles -Mark (Joy) Eyler, Amy (David) Doles, Jeannie Johnson, Donna (Robbie) Chapman, Woody (Linda) Linville, Linda (Glenn) Sewell, and Terry (Brenda) Hypes; numerous cousins and TONS of special friends, including all the wonderful people at Norwood Tool. Dan had a presence and a light that touched all who met him. His amazing doctors, Dr. Hale & Dr. Jilani, could not have tried harder to extend his life and we will be eternally grateful for the seven years you bought our family. He will be missed every single day, every single minute.  Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Sat. Dec. 22 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. The funeral service will be held Sun. Dec. 23 at 5 PM, with the family receiving friends from 4 to 5 prior to service.
