BENNETT, Darlene “Sue”

Age 55, of Verona, OH. went to be with her Lord on May 29, 2025, at Miami Valley North Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Chasteen; and a brother, Carl “Steve” Chasteen. Darlene loved her grandbabies more than anything and would spend as much time as possible with them. She was a devoted Bengals fan who enjoyed going to the beach and ocean; and working in her flower beds. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Heath Bennett; mother, Judith (Young) Chasteen; children, Danielle Gebhart (Ryan) and Seth Bennett (Kayla); grandchildren, Bennett, Boone, Brylee and Knox; sister, Cathy Schuck (Bill); sister-in-law, Cheryl Chasteen; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and good friends. Visitation for Darlene will be on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at GILBERT FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD. BROOKVILLE, OH from 4-5 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service from 5-6 p.m.
