DIEHL, David Lee

Age 79, of Brookville, died on September 29, 2021 following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell R. and Evangeline E. Diehl; siblings, Paul R. Diehl, Mary K. Diehl (Rohrer) and twin Dale Diehl. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret Kathleen (Anderson); four sons, Scott, Andrew (Darlene), Neil (Lori) and Travis; daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Stose; four grandchildren, Jacob Stose, Kaitlyn Stose, Julianna Diehl and Heather Diehl. He graduated from Dixie High School in 1960 and attended University of Cincinnati studying architecture. He was a lifelong farmer on the family homestead in Perry Township and retired from Montgomery County Sanitary Engineering after 30 years of service. He was a member of Eversole Church of the Brethren. David was greatly loved by all his family. Graveside services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Bearcreek Hillgrove Cemetery, 172 N.
