Age 69, of Brookville, passed away following an extended illness on March 14, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Doris Imwalle. She was the anchor for her family, a special a grandmother who always showed up—cheering from the sidelines, sitting in the audience, and being a constant source of encouragement. She and her husband, Jeff loved to attend OSU games every chance they got. She was also a former Good Samaritan Respiratory Therapist known for her caring and compassionate nature. Even during her time in the nursing home, she continued to care for the other residents. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jeff Derringer; children, Jason (Vivian) Derringer, Jennifer (Thomas) Fryman, and Justin (Sarah) Derringer; grandchildren, Kylie, Carleigh, Landen, Rileigh, Nathan, Adeline, Kolten, and Jackson; siblings, Mike Imwalle, Tom Imwalle, and Donna Imwalle. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21 at GILBERT-FELLERS FUENRAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE.
