FOGLE, Donald Lee

Age 85, of Brookville, passed away following an extended illness on September 27, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jill; great-grandson, Jaxon Scott Fogle; parents, Bob and Lucille Fogle; brother-in-law, George Myers. Donald was a brilliant, intelligent man who was able to overcome adversity after being born deaf. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, and using his artistic talent sculpting, woodworking, and painting. He is survived by his son, Anthony Scott Fogle; grandchildren, Benjamin Scott (Becca) Fogle, Aaron Andrew (Emily) Fogle, and Caleb Anthony Fogle; great-grandchildren, Braelyn, Leighton, Grayson, Leo, and Lucas Fogle; sisters, Jean (Brian) Swint, and Sue (Leslie) Parks; sister-in-law, Phyllis Myers; honorary granddaughter, Carly Webster; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 4th with interment to follow in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Dayton, or the Dayton Art Institute.
