HORNER, Edith M. “Tootsie”, age 91, of Brookville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Edith was the devoted wife of the late Harold Dean Horner. Though quiet in nature, Edith and Harold were anything but typical grandparents. Together they shared a love of adventure, riding their Harley Davidson across the country with their Harley club and sending postcards home to document their many travels. Their journeys created memories treasured by family and friends alike.
Edith had a special fondness for cats, enjoyed keeping up with her favorite soap operas, and cherished time spent with her family, especially at the Brookville Community Picnic.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Dean Horner, and her daughter, Sherri Lynn Todd. Also Kathy Horner. Edith is survived by her son, Scott Horner, her grandchildren, Sara and Aaron Zieber, Jonathan and Jennifer Todd, Billy Horner, and Kelly Horner, and her great-grandchildren, Abigail and Jocelyn Todd, and David and Allison Zieber.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Troy.
