Brinson, Edward C.

Age 77, of Brookville, OH passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9 at the Wexner Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Lucille Brinson. Eddie was a proud American who served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He went on to be a charter member of Brookville VFW post #3288. He loved to spend time with his family and had a soft heart. He was a strong willed man with a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. He loved to listen to Elvis and shoot pool. He is gone to soon and will be greatly missed by his family and the community. He is survived by his life partner of 17 years, Carol Lawson; children, Eddie Jr. (Laura) Brinson, Rick Brinson, and Angie (Shane) Dunigan; grandchildren, Whitney Brinson, Troy (Olivia) Brinson, and Micah Studebaker; great-grandchildren, Theo Brinson, Nate Brinson, and Catie Brinson; siblings, Gary Brinson, Jean Mangold, and Cheryl (Kelly) Rice. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15 at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
