CULTICE, Esther
Age 92, of Lewisburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 5, 2021 following an extended illness.
Esther was born on June 23, 1929 to the late Walter & Nova Kinsey. She married Gene Cultice in 1952. She had a passion for education, especially in different types of art. She attended Sinclair right out of high school and would go on to graduate from Miami University in 1959. Esther taught from 1949 - 1982 and finished her teaching career and retired from Northmont Schools in '82. Along the way in her teaching career she was awarded the Jennings Scholar Educator Award in 1968 & 1969. She was a member of Shiloh Church since 1957 and, most recently, attended the Concord Church of Christ. She was also a member of the National Christian Women's Association, and a sorority member of Delta Kappa Gamma from 1980 - 2006 (serving on numerous committees). Esther loved her family, loved the Lord, and will be missed by all those she leaves behind.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Cultice, and brother, Dale Kinsey.
Esther is survived by her son, Jeff Cultice; grandson, Eric Cultice, and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, 2pm, at the Fairview Cemetery in Englewood (corner of Union and Route 40). All family and friends are welcome to attend.
