JONES, Gayla P.

70, of Brookville, passed away on March 14, 2022 following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Sarah Perry. Gayla was a 1970 graduate of Brookville High School. She worked as the district manager for H&R Block. 1st United Methodist Church was her family’s place of worship. She was a lover of all animals and loved her friends and family with a fierce loyalty. Survived by her significant other, Pat Beireis; daughter, Annie (Drew) Tedder; grandchildren, Jackson Shiver, Oliver Tedder and Max Tedder; great-grandchild, Everette Shiver; siblings, Landen (Kathy) Perry, Jill (Joel) Ryan, and James (Gina) Perry; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19 at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville.
