WEIMER, Glenna Luann

Age 89, of Brookville, left this earth for her eternal home on January 8, 2022 following a brief illness.

Luann was born September 21, 1932, in Dayton, OH, to the late Herbert and Glenna Burnside. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1950, and became Mrs. Gene Weimer on June 7, 1952. Luann attended Grace Bible Church of Clayton, was an accomplished homemaker, mother, grandmother, and prayer warrior. When she was not on her knees praying, she could be heard cheering loud and proud for the Cincinnati Reds, or working a crossword puzzle, or sharing a laugh with family and friends. She was a joy to this world and will be deeply missed by the family and friends she leaves behind.

Luann is preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved husband of 58 years, Gene Weimer.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Erin) Weimer, Thomas (Rebecca) Weimer; grandchildren, Matt (Renee) Weimer, Amanda (Eli) Montgomery, Ellie (Nick) Fornshell, Wil Weimer; great-grandchildren, Devin, Easton, Maddox, Essie, and numerous other dear relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Luann’s Life will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, 12pm (noon) at the Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, 950 Albert Rd., Brookville, OH (with the burial to follow at Eversole Cemetery). A visitation will be held on Friday, the 14th, from 10am – 12pm, at the funeral home, leading into the services.
