Gloria Fern (McCray) Thomas

THOMAS, Gloria F. 

Age 85, of Englewood, Ohio, passed away on November 13, 2020.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Tessie McCray and twelve brothers and sisters.

She retired from Palmer Plastics Company of Englewood, Ohio.  Gloria was a graduate of Coal Local High School in Coalton, Ohio class of 1953. Gloria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother who was an extraordinary homemaker delighting her family with cooking and baking skills. She loved flowers and spent most of her time working in her garden and flower beds. Gloria was awarded The City Beautiful Award of Englewood, Ohio in 2004.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years Gene P. Thomas; son, Dale E. Thomas; daughter, Cheryl (David) Jett; grandsons, Conrad (Hannahlyn) Jett, Nathan Murphy-Thomas, Jesse Thomas; granddaughters, Hannah (Andy) Sheean, Grace Jett, Emily (Noah) Browning; dear family friend, Carol Minton; seven great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held another time by family.
