Henry "Beso" Ballin II Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Henry Ballin. Henry was a devoted father, Navy veteran, and lifelong enthusiast of football, horror movies (the scarier, the better), rock music, and poker.
One of the highlights of Henry’s high school years was playing quads in the 86-87 marching band and receiving a superior rating at state competition.
Known for his sharp humor and infectious laughter, he could always bring a smile to anyone's face. He lived life to the fullest, embracing his passions and sharing them with those he loved, whether it was at a concert, at the poker table, or watching a Bengals game.
Though he wasn’t one for big speeches, his actions spoke louder than words—his kindness, his unwavering support, and his quiet but fierce love for his family will never be forgotten.
A true character with a passion for life and a heart full of stories, he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Henry leaves behind his wife, Kristen Ballin; parents, Henry and Linda Ballin; children, Derek Ballin, Elizabeth (Brandon) Veregge, Cassidy Ballin, Emma, Lillian, and Darrell; grandchildren, Harper Veregee, Asher Veregge, and Eleanor Veregee; brothers, Jay and Tony (Tracy); numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the memories of his humor, his love, and the warmth he brought to their lives.
In honor of him, take a moment to enjoy your favorite song, cheer a little too loudly for your team, or snuggle up with a good horror movie (bonus points if it’s one he’d approve of).
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to VFW Post #3288, Brookville.
