Age 101, of Union, went to be with his Lord & Savior on July 30, 2025. He was born March 9, 1924, in Dayton, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Herman Temple & Ida (Getter) Temple; brother, Donald M. Temple and sister, Betty L. Savino. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara Jean (Payne) Temple; daughter Kimberly Ann Temple, Clayton; twin sons and daughters-in-law Kevin Scott and Tammy Temple, Fairborn; and Kirk Allen and Elaine Temple, Brookville. Other survivors include his grandsons Ryan Scott Temple (Lindsey), Nicholas Allen Temple, Aaron Michael Temple and Adam Christopher Temple (Katie), great-grandchildren Willow Grace, Gavin, Jackson, Olivia, Maverick and Naomi. Other survivors include his brothers & sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was a lifelong resident of the Dayton area, graduating from Parker Co-Op in 1941. He served his country in WWII as a member of the U.S. Army 13th Armored Division in Europe under Gen. George Patton. He retired from The Duriron Company after 43 years in the Engineering Department. He was a longtime member of Salem Church of God and actively served his Lord. He enjoyed sports, especially fishing and golf. There will a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. on August 9, 2025, at Salem Church of God, 6500 Southway Rd #1 Clayton, OH 45315.  If desired, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salem Church of God Missions ministry in his memory.
