Ina Chandler Peffley was born in Ashland Kentucky on March 5, 1926 and passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025 at 99 years of age in her daughter’s home in Shoreview, Minnesota where she had been residing for over two years. Ina was passionate about her family throughout her life. She made it a point to visit and make sure her children visited and knew each of her 12 siblings and their families scattered throughout the United States. She was committed to helping anyone in her family whenever they needed her whether it was her brothers or sisters, children or grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Charles, parents, Rena Bradley and Mattie George Chandler; her siblings, Bernard (Elaine) Chandler, Ewing (Opal) Chandler, Wilbur Chandler, Kathleen (Donald) Murray, Frances (Donald) Emery, Dana (Gloria) Chandler, Thelma (Bernard) Ramey, Roger (Loveda) Chandler, Adena (Lloyd) Heckert, Bradley (Dorothy) Chandler.

She is survived by her children; Michael (Becky) Peffley, Patricia (Craig) Ummel; Linda Kay (Jim) Romine, Brad (Lynnette) Peffley; grandchildren, Judy (Matthew) Popham, Jeanne (Steve) Peyton, Douglas (Heather) Ummel, Tricia (Phil) DePauw, Shelly (Eric) Basye, Ryan (Ann) Romine, David (Jane) Romine, Phillip (Liz Stoneburg) Romine, Carrie Peffley, Joshua (Vera Kovalenko) Peffley, Eric (Kristi Rohwer) Peffley, Lauren Peffley; great grandchildren Jonathan (Rachel) Popham, Kristin Popham, David Popham, Hannah Peyton, Cole (Samantha) Peyton, Jonathan (Cynthia) Ummel, Nathan (Anna) Ummel, Josiah Ummel, Bayly Ummel, Alison Ummel, Caroline Ummel, Colleen Harley, Lexie DePauw, Addy DePauw, Elijah Basye, Ellie Basye, Kai Basye, Aida Basye, Ruby Romine, William Romine, Nehemiah Romine, Hugo Stoneburg, Georgiana Stoneburg, Isabelle Johnson, Eden Johnson, Evan Peffley, one great, great grandchild, Timothy Ummel and two siblings, Ned (Marilyn, deceased) Chandler and Janice (Bill, deceased) Balliet. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Internment will take place at 9 AM on March 31, 2025 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at 8200 W National Rd., New Carlisle, OH 45344.

Family will receive guests from 10 – 11 AM at Rona Community Church at 1082 Rona Parkway Dr., Fairborn, OH 45324.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11 AM on March 31, 2025 at the Rona Community Church at 1082 Rona Parkway Dr. Fairborn, OH 45324.
