James Roger Barnett

BARNETT, JAMES R.

 Age 84, of Brookville, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 28, 2023, at his home. Jim retired from General Motors (Dayton) and served 2 years in the Army. He earned an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He loved studying Bible Prophecy, liked classic cars and playing his guitar. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Omer J. and Lonza (Burns) Barnett. Survived by his wife of 40 years Patricia A. (McGlothin) Barnett; in Laws, cousins and special cousins Rick Barnett & Troy Rhoads. Jim attended Greenview Calvary Tabernacle for many years. Visitation for Jim will be held on November 3, 2023, from 11-12 p.m. at Greenview Calvary Tabernacle located at 8010 N. Main St. Dayton, OH 45415 with the service to follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Tim Livingston officiating. GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, OH 45309 is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Greenview Calvary Tabernacle, 8010 N.
