BURKETT, Jim W.

Age 81, of Brookville, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Brookhaven. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Burkett; grandparents, Dewy and Silvia Burkett; parents, Stanley and Marie Burkett; sister-in-law, Linda Burkett. Jim was a mechanically minded man who could fix just about anything. He always put others first and was willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandkids. He is survived by son, Jeff (Minnie) Burkett; grandsons, Nicholas, Tyler, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Peyton, and Carson; brother, Larry Burkett; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 8 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE, with service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
