CONKLIN, John R.

Age 87, of Clayton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 following a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sondra Conklin; son, Brian Conklin; parents, Maxwell Conklin & Kathryn Oren; daughter-in-law, Betty Osborn. Until Covid, he was employed by Lenz Co. in Dayton. He was also a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. John is survived by a daughter, Angela (Ray) Steck; son, Kevin Osborn; grandchildren, Maxwell, Sandra, Kevin, Jessica & Amanda and by several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 7 pm Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE, with a viewing 5-7 Thursday leading into the service.
