John E. Puterbaugh

PUTERBAUGH, John E.

Age 80, of Brookville, passed away on July 4, 2023. John was born in Trotwood and grew upon Albert Rd. in Brookville where he was active in 4-H, raising spot pigs, horses, breeding Dalmatians, playing Football, Baseball and Track. His nickname in High school was Moose. He spent a lot of time at the bowling alley so they gave him his 1st job where he eventually became the manager.  After school, John worked in sales in various industries and then moved back to Albert Rd to raise his family and spent a decade working at each Green Tokia and Brookhaven. John loved watching the Ohio state Buckeyes the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Browns. He is survived by his children, Amie, Andrew (Krista), and Justin Puterbaugh; grandchildren, Olivia Shed, Daniel Egnor, Miles Egnor, and Emma Puterbaugh; great-grandson, Braxton Egnor. No services will be held at this time for Mr. Puterbaugh.
