TYNES, Lambert H. Jr.

Age 55, of Brookville, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Lambert Howard Tynes, Sr. & recently by his paternal grandmother, Margie Moore. He was a US Navy veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He was a member of The Ridge Church and also VFW Post #3288, both in Brookville. Lambert is survived by his wife of 8 years, Cindy Millikin-Tynes; mother, Terry Tynes; children, Taryn Tynes & fiancé Sheldon Vanlong, Justin Tynes, Ashley Tynes, Lambert H. Tynes, III & fiancée Brittany Burnside; granddaughter, Aurora; brother, Rick (Ashley) Tynes, and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 7pm Thu. Sept. 16 at The Ridge, 7555 Brookville-Phillipsburg Rd. Brookville, where a visitation will also be held from 4-7 pm Thu. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to help with funeral expenses. Burial will be held at 10 am Friday Sept 17 in Dayton National Cemetery.
